Fiber 300 upgraded to Fiber 1000. I recently upgraded. When F300 was setup the tech that came out set me up with 2 connections. A 2.4 Ghz and a 5 Ghz. The 2.4 works with those devices that don't go faster. Depends what you’re going to do with it, would recommend 1Gbps if you’re streaming HD video from a selfhosted media server for example.
