Shock and fire are probably the best for sandhawks. Also sandhawks with the "flying" prefix would be best as it speed up bullet speed. The bee still drops from hunter but he seems stingy in his drop rate to me. If you have tiny tinas dlc i hear the treeants have a slightly higher drop rate, though ive never tried.While wearing a Bee Shield, Shoot with the Sandhawk on an enemy's crit spot far away when you think he won't move and you will hit it, and before the sandhawk hits, change to Lady Fist/Crit Weapon. General advice for those who really, really want a Sandhawk without resetting UVHM is to ignore Scarlett's until you are at max level. Then go and get one.Get it as soon as you can. You can use any level sandhawk the entire way through UVHM if you're pairing it with a bee shield. The damage will come from the shield.
